Additionally hackerPulse has launched a new AI-powered dashboard that helps engineering managers understand how their teams are working and where things can be improv. The goal is simple: to gain a clear picture of the team’s performance using actual data from tools already used by technical leaders such as GitHub, Jira, and Conflict.
Dashboards are made for engineering leaders who want to track progress, reduce unnecessary tasks and make sure their projects are going in the right direction. By combining information from the entire tool stack, HackerPulse shows what works and what delays the team. HackerPulse provides administrators with data that supports team configuration, task load and overall performance decisions.
A Stanford University study found that about 9.5% of engineers made no meaningful contributions, with an additional 25% falling into process bias. These problems have caus companies to lose millions of dollars each year. Most engineering tools only display part of the image. HackerPulse collects all such data in one place.
“We talked to over 100 engineering leaders before we made it. They all said the same thing. There was no clear way to measure what their team was doing, “says Alberto Shelve, co-founder and former Apple engineer of HackerPulse.”This dashboard solves it.
Additionally engineers also benefit. This tool enables engineers to check their progress, track the relationship between their work and team goals, and gain better focus time. It can help reduce burnout syndrome by showing which team members are overload or are doing a job that is not helping to advance the project.
HackerPulse proposes how to detect and fix problems early using AI. Additionally track important things such as how often the code is releas, how long it takes to task, how much work it takes between team members, and how much time it is spent on actual development.
“What the team needs is not to increase the tools. What the team needs is a better insight from the tools they already use, “says Greb Braverman, co-founder of HackerPulse. “That’s what we offer.
Investors believe the tool appeared at the right time. The company recently raised $1.5 million in seed funds, led by AltaIR Capital and joined by angel investors from companies such as Antler, DVC Fund, Uber, Cloudflare, Deel and Google.
“As remote work becomes more common, many teams don’t know who is doing what. HackerPulse will allow administrators to get a clear picture again, “said Igor Ryabenkiy, managing partner at AltaIR Capital.
Additionally this platform is use by companies such as Preply, Coverflex, DiscoverCars and Terminal Industries. These initial partners use HackerPulse to plan team configurations, reduce bottlenecks, and track real-time output.
“HackerPulse balanced the workload and made it easier for engineers to fit the right tasks.
About HackerPulse
Additionally hackerPulse was started by Alberto Scherb (former Apple and Nest) and Gleb Braverman (2x founder, OnDeck, ESADE). After hearing similar issues from dozens of engineer managers, they decided to create something that allowed the technical team to focus on what really matters.
